On February 25, the RA NA President Alen Simonyan received the delegation led by the Co-Chair of the EU-Armenia Parliamentary Partnership Committee Nils Ušakovs. Welcoming them to the Parliament of Armenia, Alen Simonyan highlighted similar contacts, especially in the background of the Armenia-EU developing relations.

In their turn the members of the delegation of the European Parliament thanked the RA NA President for warm reception, underscoring that they are here to support the democratic aspirations of Armenia.

Besides the agenda topics regarding the Armenia-EU relations and the ongoing democratic reforms in Armenia, the interlocutors’ discussions also focused on issues related to the normalisation of Armenia-Azerbaijan relations.
