On 4 April 2025, Armenia was elected to the Executive Board of the United Nations Development Programme/United Nations Population Fund/United Nations Office for Project Services for the term 2026-2028.
Armenia will put its utmost effort to support and contribute to the work of the Executive Board of UNDP/UNFPA/UNOPS for the benefit of the implementation of 2030 Agenda, and inclusive, effective and sustainable development in the programme countries in its three dimensions – social, economic and environmental.
The Executive Board of UNDP, UNFPA and UNOPS is responsible for overseeing and supporting the activities of these organizations. It consists of 36 member and ensures that these agencies remain responsive to the evolving needs of programme countries while providing strategic direction and supervision.
