On April 24, a silent manifestation took place in Luxembourg, dedicated to the 110th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.
The event was organized by the civil society organizations ACAT Luxembourg and Amnesty International, with the support of the Embassy Office of Armenia in Luxembourg.
In her speech, Ms. Arpine Khachatryan, Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of Armenia in Luxembourg, emphasized that preventing the recurrence of such crimes is a shared responsibility. She added that Armenia’s efforts towards establishment lasting peace in the region are aimed at that objective.

On the occasion of the 110th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, ACAT Luxembourg and Amnesty International also released a special edition of a joint article series, addressing several important topics—including the testimony of a Luxembourgish eyewitness to the Armenian Genocide, as well as the issue of Armenian hostages held in Azerbaijan.
