On May 9, commemorating Victory Day over fascism in Moscow is a clear display of hypocrisy in the context of the war against Ukraine and the modern manifestations of fascism.
The Russian Federation’s aggression against Ukraine’s sovereign territory is a crime against humanity and a gross violation of international law.

The Republic Party firmly believes that the Republic of Armenia, which has set its course toward democracy, membership in the EU family, and alignment with civilized nations, should not participate in such an event that would effectively legitimize the actions of dictators who commit aggression against neighboring states.

Instead, given the critical security, economic, and domestic political challenges Armenia faces, we emphasize the urgent need to initiate an active and effective process toward EU membership and fulfill commitments under a Strategic Partnership with the United States.
