On May 13, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan had a meeting with Xavier Bettel, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of Luxembourg. The meeting took place within the framework of the Ministerial Session of the Council of Europe.
The interlocutors discussed new initiatives aimed at deepening the friendship and mutually beneficial partnership between the two countries.
Ararat Mirzoyan and Xavier Bettel exchanged views on developments in the EU and its neighborhood. Minister Mirzoyan presented the efforts to deepen the Armenia-EU partnership, emphasizing that the signing of the New Partnership Agenda would mark a significant milestone in expanding Armenia’s cooperation with the EU and its member states.
The Ministers of Armenia and Luxembourg also touched upon international and regional developments happening amidst current geopolitical uncertainties.

Ararat Mirzoyan underscored Armenia’s determination to sign the Agreement on peace and establishment of interstate relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
