Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan arrived in Albania on a working visit to participate in the 6th Summit of the European Political Community. The visit kicked off with a meeting between the Prime Ministers of Armenia and Albania, Nikol Pashinyan and Edi Rama.
Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama welcomed the visit of the Prime Minister of Armenia to Tirana and noted that despite the fact that the visit is within the framework of an international summit, today’s meeting will contribute to the further development of relations between the two countries and outlining promising directions of cooperation.
Nikol Pashinyan expressed gratitude for the warm hospitality and expressed confidence that the meeting will give a new impetus to further cooperation in areas of mutual interest, including the strengthening of political dialogue.
During the meeting, the leaders of the two countries discussed topical issues of Armenia-Albania relations, touching upon the prospects for cooperation in various fields.

The sides also exchanged views on regional issues. In particular, the process of normalizing relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan was discussed. Both sides emphasized the importance of signing a peace agreement in order to ensure stability and lasting peace in the region.
