Prime Ministers of Armenia and the Netherlands discuss prospects for further development of bilateral cooperation

In Tirana, Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan met with Prime Minister of the Kingdom of the Netherlands Hendrikus Wilhelmus Maria Schoof.

Prime Minister Pashinyan emphasized the importance of the continuous development and deepening of friendly and mutual respect-based relations between Armenia and the Netherlands.

The interlocutors discussed a number of issues related to the bilateral agenda, paying particular attention to the activation of political dialogue, expansion of economic ties and deepening cooperation in the field of democracy.

The parties exchanged views on the developments in the Armenia-European Union partnership, as well as the Armenia-Azerbaijan peace process. Prime Minister Pashinyan presented the “Crossroads of Peace” initiative of the Government of Armenia, emphasizing its potential positive impact on regional stability and cooperation.

The Prime Ministers of Armenia and the Netherlands reaffirmed their readiness to continue the dialogue and take steps to deepen partnership in areas of mutual interest.
