Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan hosted the delegation led by President of the House of Representatives of Cyprus Anita Dimitriou.
Prime Minister Pashinyan welcomed Ms. Dimitriou’s visit to Armenia, emphasizing that Cyprus is a friendly country for Armenia, with which deep historical, cultural and value-based ties have been formed. In this context, the Prime Minister emphasized the importance of the continuous development of bilateral political dialogue, as well as the deepening of inter-parliamentary cooperation.
Anita Dimitriou expressed gratitude for the reception and warm welcome, reaffirming Cyprus’ support for Armenia’s sovereignty, territorial integrity and democratic reforms.
A number of issues on the agenda of Armenia-Cyprus bilateral cooperation were discussed during the meeting, including the development of economic ties, investment opportunities, and the expansion of multi-sectoral cooperation.

The interlocutors also discussed a number of issues on the regional and international agenda, touching upon developments that are of common interest and opportunities for cooperation.
The sides exchanged views on developments in Armenia-Azerbaijan peace process, and in this context, the importance of establishing peace and maintaining stability in the South Caucasus was emphasized.
