On August 15, the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, Zareh Sinanyan, met with Adrien Vahagn Sage, President of the Front for the Defense of the Armenian Cause in France (FDACAF) and the Laïcité et République Sociale organization.
Mr. Sage, advocate for Armenian interests in France, congratulated Armenia on the signing of the Agreement “On the Establishment of Peace and Interstate Relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan” in Washington on 8 August, expressing confidence that lasting peace will create new opportunities for Armenia’s economic growth, social reforms, and international investment.
High Commissioner Sinanyan emphasized the significance of the Washington meeting and agreement as a milestone for regional peace, noting that it also marks an important step in strengthening Armenia–US relations.
The sides discussed prospects for expanding Armenia–France cooperation, new formats for diaspora engagement, and opportunities for joint initiatives.
