Armenpress. The Armenian customs service will operate on TRIPP – the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity, an Armenian official said Friday.
“I reaffirm that the customs service will operate there,” State Revenue Committee Chairman Eduard Hakobyan said in parliament in response to a question from opposition MP Artsvik Minasyan from the Hayastan faction.
“Regarding details, they are subject to discussion. Nonetheless, regardless of that, our general customs policy is total, meaning, we are carrying out reforms towards facilitating trade on all our borders,” Hakobyan said.
The Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity is a connectivity project in Armenia envisaged under the U.S.-brokered Armenian-Azerbaijani joint declaration signed in Washington, D.C.
