In Copenhagen, within the framework of the 7th Summit of the European Political Community, the meeting of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan with the President of the European Council António Costa and the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen took place.
During the meeting, Prime Minister Pashinyan, President Costa and President von der Leyen discussed the Armenia-European Union partnership agenda, the process of democratic reforms in our country, and the prospects for the development of economic cooperation.
The parties also touched upon regional developments, the outcomes of the Washington Peace Summit and the implementation of the TRIPP project. In this context, the importance of the Crossroads of Peace initiative was highlighted as an important pillar of regional cooperation and sustainable development.
The Presidents of the European Council and the European Commission reaffirmed the EU’s continued support for Armenia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as its agenda of democratic and economic reforms. Prime Minister Pashinyan expressed gratitude for the support and highlighted the importance of deepening the partnership with the EU.
