On October 20, within the framework of his working visit to Luxembourg, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan had a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Moldova Mihai Popșoi.
The interlocutors touched upon the opportunities to expand bilateral cooperation through reciprocal visits and enhanced collaboration in areas of mutual interest.
Ararat Mirzoyan and Mihai Popșoi exchanged views on issues related to European integration, emphasizing their readiness to share best practices to ensure the effective use of existing instruments.
The Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Armenia and Moldova also exchanged views on the challenges arising along the path of democratic development and the mechanisms for overcoming them. Mihai Popșoi shared Moldova’s experience in conducting elections, including efforts to counter hybrid threats and disinformation, as well as steps taken to strengthen institutional capacities in this regard.
