At the initiative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, a series of lectures and discussions were held with students at several universities, featuring the participation of the leadership of the Ministry.
On 21 October, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Mnatsakan Safaryan delivered a lecture at the Russian-Armenian University.
On 22 October, Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Davit Karapetyan delivered the lectures for the students of the Faculties of International Relations, Law, and Oriental Studies of Yerevan State University, followed by another lecture on 23 October for the students of the French University in Armenia.

The speakers provided a comprehensive overview of the importance and specificities of the diplomatic service. The opportunities to join the diplomatic service by filling the currently vacant diplomatic positions within the system of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia.
Answering students’ questions, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Secretary General of the Ministry touched upon Armenia’s balanced and balancing foreign policy, country’s priorities in the context of established peace in the region, the “Crossroads of Peace” project presented by the Government of Armenia, relations with partner countries, as well as Armenia’s engagement in multilateral fora.
