On October 23 during his working visit to Paris Foreign Minister of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan had a meeting with Sima Bahous, the Executive Director of UN Women (UN Entity for Gender Equality and Empowerment of Women).

The interlocutors discussed issues related to promoting women’s leadership, also touching upon the steps taken by Armenia in this direction.

Both sides emphasized the important role of women in the processes of reconciliation and strengthening peace between societies in post-conflict conditions.
