A meeting chaired by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan was held to discuss issues related to the pilot program for performance assessment and incentives in the public administration system within the framework of the Public Administration Reform Strategy.
It was noted that the program will be aimed at increasing the competitiveness of the public service system, institutional modernization, and increasing the efficiency of the public administration system through performance assessment. Details were presented on the principles, scope, and continuity of the pilot program. It was emphasized that the conclusions of the pilot program will become the basis for legislative revisions in 2026.
The participants of the consultation presented various observations, views and suggestions on the program.
The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of steps aimed at improving human resources and capabilities in the public administration system and, in this context, emphasized the need to create the necessary conditions for improving qualifications. As a result of the discussion, the Prime Minister instructed those responsible to revise the program based on the recommendations and submit it to the Government for approval.
