Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received Helen Clark, Chair of the Global Leadership Foundation, former Prime Minister of New Zealand, former Administrator of the UNDP.
The Prime Minister welcomed the latter’s visit to Armenia and highly appreciated the activities of the Global Leadership Foundation. Nikol Pashinyan expressed hope that close cooperation will be established with the foundation.
Helen Clark noted that she is in Armenia to participate in the meeting of the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI) Board and noted that the foundation’s goal is to support democratic political leadership and good governance by making the experience of former leaders available to current leaders.
During the meeting, the parties also discussed issues related to expanding regional economic cooperation and unblocking communication channels, as well as the “Crossroads of Peace” and TRIPP initiatives.
