On November 20, the Forum of Armenian Arts and Culture was officially launched at the Arno Babajanyan Concert Hall. The Forum is organized by the Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs of the Republic of Armenia in partnership with the International Coordinating Council for Armenian Culture and Arts.
During the opening ceremony, welcome remarks were delivered by Zareh Sinanyan, High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, and Zhanna Andreasyan, Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia.
The Forum aims to foster the continuous development of cultural cooperation between Armenia and the diaspora, enhance mutual recognition among Armenian artists, support the development and implementation of cultural policy with the engagement of diaspora professionals, and, most importantly, promote and advance Armenian culture and arts on international platforms.
In his remarks, Zareh Sinanyan stated: ”This forum is envisioned as a platform where new ideas, partnerships, and long-term impact initiatives will take shape. I am confident that over the course of these two days, every discussion, every new connection, and every creative exchange will make a meaningful contribution to strengthening our shared cultural values and enhancing their international visibility”.
