On December 15, in Riyadh, on the sidelines of the 11th Global Forum of the UN Alliance of Civilizations, Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Robert Abisoghomonyan had a meeting with Miguel Angel Moratinos, High Representative of the UNAOC.
The interlocutors discussed the ongoing projects within the UNAOC framework and the engagement of Armenia therein.
The parties exchanged views on issues of advancing the preservation and protection of cultural heritage, as well as promoting intercultural dialogue and youth engagement across various sectors of public life.
Touching upon recent regional developments, the Deputy Foreign Minister emphasized the importance of further consolidating and institutionalizing the peace. The importance of implementing the “Crossroads of Peace” initiative of the Government of Armenia and its key component “TRIPP” project on the basis of the sovereignty, territorial integrity, and jurisdiction of the states was underscored, aimed at advancing regional unblocking and transport connectivity.
