In accordance with Article 150.1.2 and Article 147.1 of the Constitutional Law the Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly, the deputy of the National Assembly Hripsime Hunanyan has submitted a resignation letter from the position of the Chair of the Standing Committee on Health Care.
In accordance with Article 147.2 of the Constitutional Law the Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly, if, within one week after the publication of the resignation letter, the relevant official, in writing:
1) withdraws her/his resignation letter, then the President of the National Assembly makes a statement to this effect.
2) does not withdraw her/his resignation letter, then a protocol is drawn up on the termination of his/her powers, which is signed and published by the President of the National Assembly. From the moment of publication of the protocol, the resignation letter is considered accepted.
