The Artsakh Union has concluded the project titled “Mapping, Awareness and Capacity Building of Displaced Micro and Small Entrepreneurs (Enterprises) from Artsakh,” co-funded by the Izmirlian Foundation. The closing ceremony took place on January 30 at the “Tumanyans Art” Center.
The key results of the project are as follows:
- Educational Component: 25 entrepreneurs participated in the training phase, successfully completing the curriculum and receiving graduation certificates.
- Financial Support: 5 participants were awarded small grants dedicated to business development.
- Digital Toolkit: A pivotal outcome of the project is the creation of the Artsakh Business Database. This platform aims to increase the visibility of Artsakh businesses and expand their market access.
- Consultancy: Individual “roadmaps” were developed for participants to help them clearly plan their next business steps.
The educational and consultancy components were implemented in collaboration with InnoBiz, a specialized consultancy firm.

Armen Chobanyan, Director of the Izmirlian Foundation, stated that the Foundation has always supported the people of Artsakh, both in Artsakh and now in Armenia. He expressed satisfaction with the project’s results, highlighting their importance for the displaced beneficiaries.
