Mesrobian Technical College proudly announces the realization of a milestone in its history: By decree No. 2569 of the President of Lebanon, the Technical College is officially elevated to the status of a “Higher Technical College” and will henceforth be called “Mesrobian Higher Technical College”.
The decree No. 2569 was officially issued from the Presidential Palace in Baabda on February 19, 2026. This important legal attribute was ratified by the signatures of the President of the Republic of Lebanon, Joseph Aoun, the President of the Council of Ministers, Prime Minister Nawaf Salam, and the Minister of Education and Higher Education, Rima Karami.
This advancement is the most significant achievement in the history of the college since its founding in 1982. It marks a new era of academic excellence and greatly expanded opportunities. With this elevated status, the college is ready to open new horizons for the Lebanese-Armenian youth in the fields of technical and university education.
The status of a Higher Technical College enhances our institution’s ability to provide comprehensive pathways to higher education, comprising the BP, BT, TS and LT levels. This development strengthens the guarantee that pupils and students have a clear and consistent path to higher education in a variety of technical fields, equipping them with the necessary professional skills to succeed in today’s occupational environment.
