A Security Council meeting was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, which was also attended by President of the Republic Vahagn Khachaturyan, President of the National Assembly Alen Simonyan, Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister Arayik Harutyunyan, Vice President of the National Assembly Ruben Rubinyan, Head of the National Assembly “Civil Contract” faction Hayk Konjoryan, Chairman of the National Assembly Foreign Relations Committee Sargis Khandanyan.
Head of the Foreign Intelligence Service Kristinne Grigoryan delivered a comprehensive report on the events taking place around the Islamic Republic of Iran and in the Middle East. Secretary of the Security Council Armen Grigoryan presented a report on the activities of the interdepartmental working group established by the Prime Minister’s instruction.
Based on the results of the meeting, the Prime Minister gave the necessary instructions. The participants of the meeting expressed deep regret over the painful developments, expressed their condolences for the victims, and emphasized the need for the speedy establishment of peace.
