On March 5, Ambassador Narek Mkrtchyan participated in the OpenAI Education Summit at the headquarters of OpenAI in San Francisco.
Representatives of countries that already cooperate with OpenAI or are interested in opportunities for such cooperation took part in the event.
Within the framework of the summit, Ambassador Mkrtchyan discussed with OpenAI representatives the prospects for possible cooperation between the company and the Armenian side in the fields of education and artificial intelligence.
During the event, a roundtable discussion was organised with the participation of senior officials from the education sector and representatives of universities from various countries.
During the discussion, Ambassador Mkrtchyan delivered remarks, presenting the approaches of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia, as well as the current priorities of Armenia in the field of education.
