On March 24, a working breakfast titled “Ahead of the Armenia–European Union Summit” was hosted at the Permanent Mission of Greece to the European Union, with the participation of Tigran Balayan, Head of the Mission of the Republic of Armenia to the EU. The event brought together Permanent Representatives of EU Member States, delegates from the EU Working Party on Eastern Europe and Central Asia, as well as senior officials from the European Commission and the European External Action Service.
In his remarks, Ambassador Balayan presented the agreements reached during recent high-level visits and contacts, outlined the preparations for the European Political Community and the first Armenia-EU summits, and conveyed the expectations of the Armenian side.
Addressing progress within Armenia’s peace agenda, Ambassador Balayan provided a detailed overview of infrastructure projects, underscoring Armenia’s readiness to deepen cooperation with its European partners.
During the discussion, participants exchanged views on a range of regional issues.
The meeting also served as an important opportunity to reaffirm the continued commitment to strengthening the partnership between Armenia and the European Union.
