Aljazeera. Kuwait’s Foreign Ministry has condemned an Iranian attack that targeted fuel tanks at its international airport.
The attack is a “serious violation of international humanitarian law, as the airport is considered a civilian facility”, it said in a statement shared on social media.
“We are dealing, with the support of Army Firefighting, the National Guard, and Oil, with a fire in a fuel tank at Kuwait Airport targeted by hostile drones,” said Brigadier General Mohammed al-Ghareeb, in a statement carried by the Kuwait News Agency.
Al-Ghareeb also said that 82 such incidents had occurred in the country “since the beginning of the sinful Iranian aggression”.
