According to the decision of the Competition Council, Yeprem Karapetyan’s candidacy was nominated for the vacant position of a member of the Corruption Prevention Commission, and the Armenia and With Honor factions nominated Tadevos Avetisyan as an agreed joint candidate for the position of a member of the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission.
The Chairman of the NA Counting Commission Narek Babayan presented the results of the votes held at the NA regular sitting.
59 deputies voted in favour of Yeprem Karapetyan’s candidacy, 1 deputy against. Out of 107 NA deputies, 85 participated in the voting. There were 85 ballots in the ballot box, 25 of which were declared invalid.
83 deputies voted in favour of Tadevos Avetisyan. Out of 107 NA deputies, 85 participated in the vote. There were 85 ballots in the ballot box, 2 of which were declared invalid.

In accordance with Article 155.1 of the Constitutional Law the Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly the deputy of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Tadevos Avetisyan submitted resignation letter on March 19, 2026.
Pursuant to Article 155.2 of the Constitutional Law the Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly, if after the issuance of the resignation, during one week, the deputy takes back her/his resignation letter, then the President of the National Assembly makes a statement, if the deputy does not take back his/her resignation letter, then a protocol is compiled on suspension of the authorities, which signs and issues the President of the National Assembly. The resignation letter is considered accepted after the issuance of the protocol.
