The Minister of Defence of the Republic of Armenia, Suren Papikyan, was awarded the Legion of Honor (Legion d’honneur) of the French Republic.
“Today, by decree of French President Emmanuel Macron, I was awarded the Legion of Honor (Legion d’honneur) of the French Republic.
The order was presented to me by French Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu, who highly appreciated my great contribution to the development of Armenia-France relations,” he noted on Facebook.

The parties, particularly, emphasized the importance of the continuous strengthening of the bilateral strategic partnership and emphasized the need to expand cooperation in the defence sector”.
