The Minister of Defence of the Republic of Armenia, Suren Papikyan, was awarded the Legion of Honor (Legion d’honneur) of the French Republic.
“Today, by decree of French President Emmanuel Macron, I was awarded the Legion of Honor (Legion d’honneur) of the French Republic.
The order was presented to me by French Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu, who highly appreciated my great contribution to the development of Armenia-France relations,” he noted on Facebook.
As Ministry of Defence reports: “Suren Papikyan met with French Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu in Paris.
