TASS. Russia will not kidnap Vladimir Zelensky the way the United States did with Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, it’s a matter of self-respect, Federation Council Chairperson Valentina Matviyenko stated in an interview with Olga Skabeyeva.
“Are you suggesting we kidnap Zelensky? <…> That is not our style. We are the most self-respecting and respected country in the world. If we did that, we would lose respect for ourselves. Not to mention, the United States gained nothing from the killing [of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei]. But the stain will remain in history forever,” she explained.
