Political consultations were held between Azerbaijan and India at the level of their ministries of foreign affairs, Azerbaijani media report.
The political consultations were led by Deputy Foreign Minister Elnur Mammadov on the Azerbaijani side, and by Secretary (West) of the Ministry of External Affairs Sibi George on the Indian side.
At the same time, Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov also received the delegation led by Sibi George.
The parties discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral relations, and cooperation issues in the areas of economic-trade relations, energy, tourism, and education were reviewed.
