On April 9, the RA NA President Alen Simonyan received the delegation led by the Chair of the Austria-Armenia-Georgia Parliamentary Friendship Group of Austria Martina von Künsberg Sarre.
The RA NA President thanked the guests for their visit to Armenia, noting that such visits are considered to be a serious incentive in terms of activating bilateral ties.
The discussions focused on issues regarding the bilateral and inter-parliamentary ties, the ongoing democratic reforms in Armenia, the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan, and regional developments.
Alen Simonyan also drew the attention of the members of the Friendship Group to the problem of the captives being in Azerbaijan, illegally held persons, and being considered missing persons.
