“Hybrid” — From the Series of Bluffs

April 11,2026 10:00

Until about a week ago, the authorities, their affiliated “pro-Western” circles, and NGOs’ favorite talking point was the “hybrid war” that Russia is allegedly waging against our country to prevent Pashinyan’s political reproduction. Under this narrative, the EU has granted the authorities €12 million. Presumably, in order to “utilize” these funds, the same NGOs conduct “fact-checks,” exposing how malicious Kremlin propagandists spread disinformation against the native government — presented as a beacon of sovereignty and democracy — and its representatives. Chief “intelligence officer” Kristine Grigoryan was drafting corresponding reports and delivering speeches in the Civil Contract style on the topic of the “hybrid war.”

And then suddenly, after Pashinyan’s visit to Moscow on April 1, this talk largely disappeared. Why this happened can only be guessed. There are mainly three assumptions.

Ms. Grigoryan’s agents nestled in the Kremlin (so to speak, “Armenian Stierlitzes”) have stopped reporting to her on conspiracies being woven there against Armenia.

Pashinyan demanded that Putin put an end to the hybrid war against Armenia, threatening to withdraw from the CSTO and the EAEU — and the Russian president, fearing such a disastrous prospect for his country, gave the appropriate orders to his agents.

It was Putin who asked Pashinyan to tone down the rhetoric about the “hybrid war.”

The fact remains: the “hybrid” balloon will eventually burst. Just like “Sashik’s 50/50” (though, given the pre-election conjuncture, they will try to refresh it slightly), like “General Manvel’s canned meat.”

Like TRIPP — because from the very beginning it was clear that building an American “facility” on the border with Iran is, to put it mildly, controversial. Like “Vance’s $9 billion investments.”

Like the “American modular nuclear power plant.” Like the Academic City. Like the Ajapnyak metro station.
