The High Commissioner’s working visit to France continues.
On April 26, Zareh Sinanyan, the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, attended the “Armenian Cuisine and Crafts Market” festival in Avignon, organized as part of the “Armenian Days” events.
During his visit, the High Commissioner toured the festival stands and explored the various exhibits on display.
As part of the festival, Zareh Sinanyan met with Armen Martirosyan, President of the “Amicale Franco-Arménienne de Nîmes et du Gard,” as well as members of the Armenian community from Nîmes who came to Avignon to take part in the “Armenian Days.” Discussions focused on ways to further energize community life, particularly by encouraging youth engagement, as well as on expanding participation in the programs of the Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs.
