Zareh Sinanyan, David Ojakian discussed Armenian Assembly of America’s activities and ongoing programs
The High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, Zareh Sinanyan, is currently on a working visit to the United States.
On May 9, as part of the visit, in Glendale, Zareh Sinanyan met with a delegation led by David Ojakian, Western Region Director of the Armenian Assembly of America.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the organization’s activities and ongoing programs. Particular attention was given to the 2026 Advocacy Summit Scholarship Program, which took place in April and brought together around 130 students.

They also discussed issues related to strengthening Armenia-Diaspora cooperation, deepening ties with Armenia, and implementing joint initiatives.
Zareh Sinanyan reaffirmed the Office’s readiness to continue cooperation with Diaspora organizations and individuals committed to contributing to the strengthening and development of Armenia.
The discussion also focused on repatriation policies and programs, the promotion of youth initiatives, and the more effective engagement of the Diaspora’s potential in Armenia’s development processes.
