The European Union has announced that it will continue to support Armenia, accusing Russia of attempts at coercion before the parliamentary elections scheduled for June 7.
The spokesperson for the European Commission, Anouar El Anouni, stated:
“Armenia, as a sovereign, democratic and independent country, has every right to choose its own path and partners.
We are supporting Armenia’s democratic resilience, including against hybrid threats, foreign information manipulation and interference, and attempts to undermine trust in democratic institutions.
