Press TV: Iran’s Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmail Baghaei:
Iranian and Omani foreign ministers met in Muscat on Saturday to coordinate future arrangements for managing maritime traffic through the Strait of Hormuz.
Iran stressed that any future framework should be agreed through consultations between the two littoral states, taking into account recent developments, particularly the US-Israeli imposed war and its security implications for navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.
Iran and Oman agreed to continue political, technical, and legal talks to reach a mutual understanding on ensuring the security of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.
