Zareh Sinanyan, Norair Khalafyan Discuss Cooperation, All-Armenian Student Association Initiatives

On July 29, High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Zareh Sinanyan met with Executive Chair of the All-Armenian Student Association (All-ASA), Norair Khalafyan.

During the meeting, the parties discussed All-ASA’s recent initiatives and ongoing efforts to strengthen the global Armenian student network. Norair Khalafyan presented the organization’s latest achievements, including its expansion to the U.S. East Coast, the establishment of university chapters around the world, and the launch of mentorship and scholarship programs designed to support Armenian students and young professionals.

The discussion also focused on opportunities to expand cooperation between the Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs and All-ASA, as well as to strengthen partnerships between All-ASA and higher education institutions in Armenia. The parties explored potential joint initiatives aimed at increasing student engagement and fostering stronger connections between Armenia and Armenian students worldwide.

The parties also discussed All-ASA’s participation in the Office’s upcoming major initiatives, including the Global Armenian Summit and the Armenian National Youth Forum, particularly its involvement in the Advisory Board meetings and its contribution to shaping the agenda and program of both initiatives.

The meeting concluded with both parties reaffirming their commitment to continued cooperation in empowering Armenian youth, strengthening Armenia–Diaspora ties, and creating new opportunities for Armenian students and young leaders around the world.
