Another third power

  The Alliance of the Democratic-Patriotic forces that was created under the “auspices” of an ex-member of the Karabakh committee Ashot Manucharyan almost half a year ago and People’s Party held a joint meeting yesterday and discussed the current situation. Before the meeting started, during a conversation with journalists the People’s Party leader Tigran Karapetyan stated, “Today we in a strict official manner say that we are the third power.” According to him, they have created People’s Movement, but have not privatized it, “We invited all the patriotic forces to join with us. We don’t need either an office, or a study. We need the prosperity, the well-being of the Armenian people, and all those forces that adopt evil approach, that solve personal issues of becoming rich, will in the end have to leave our motherland, will have to let people get on their feet, get over this poor state. Today one must not do any experiments; one must just solve people’s problems.” Then in his meeting speech Ashot Manucharyan said, “We have committed a crime, we have forgotten our gods. They say we are Christian people, have you seen a Christian like this? What kind of Christian makes gold of money, then makes a golden sheep of that gold and then starts to worship that golden sheep.”
