Londoners are righteously proud not only of the architecture characteristic of their city, cultural heritage, but also numerous gardens and parks and their marvelous condition.
We, residents of Yerevan, missing gardens and parks, are fascinated most of all by London’s parks, while being in the capital city of Great Britain.
Those are numerous and almost everywhere, they are well-cared-for, big and green, even in winter. The presence of numerous squirrels makes the gardens more attractive. People spend hours in Saint James Park, Hyde Park, Regent Park, and Green Park, enjoying the nature, feeding squirrels, ducks, swans, geese and black thrushes.
A tree decorated with black thrushes reminded me of a Soviet movie “The Secret of Black Thrushes” based on one of Agatha Christie’s narratives.

And seagulls are hovering over the Thames and cackling. They and pigeons are so many in the vicinity of the Thames that they occupy special place in the movies about London. The latest one, a four-minute-long short movie, was shown for the people who embarked on the EDF Energy London Eye in 4D format. Everyone’s attention was grabbed and distracted by the seagulls regularly appearing and crackling in the movie, whereas the city itself was quite impressive.
It is quite surprising that there are not only many blooming flowers, but also blooming trees in Saint James Park, London, at the end of December. I couldn’t manage to find out what tree this tree with pink gentle flowers was, but is it really important?
