Today www.aravot.am inquired from a member of the initiative group of the Sardarapat movement, Zhirayr Sefilyan, whether he pinned any hopes of rescuing Armenians on the ANC. “If there had been an honest opposition actually contrasting with this system, the Sardarapat movement wouldn’t have been established. The ANC is the only systemic opposition today, but at the same time the political stage of the future that is forming today will completely deny this system. From this perspective, let me say in response to your question that no, we haven’t pinned any hopes in recent years, moreover, we not only don’t pin any hopes on the ANC, but also deny the whole political stage today, because the chief conductor on that stage is Serzhik Sargsyan, all the shifts are produced at his behest. Moreover, I must say that the list of MPs in the future National Assembly – i.e. who will become MPs – is in Serzh Sarsyan’s small drawer starting from today, I want to say, to be frankly, it is meaningless to cherish any hopes after knowing so much, let alone for your mentioned ANC or any other force. I would say that forces operating on the political stage under the name Opposition directly or indirectly serve this anti-Armenian system that exploits our people,” said Zhirayr Sefilyan, expressing hope that honest people that had been indirectly deceived in that system would soon leave that dirty stage and join the newly-forming resistant-civil-national camp.
Tigran Khzmalyan added that the ANC was the systemic opposition, whereas the Sardarapat movement was the anti-systemic opposition. “We have made an ANT-isystem out of the ANC,” made a joke Zhirayr Sefilyan. Tigran Khzmalyan developed his idea again, “The change of power is not a sufficient condition any more, it is necessary, as there are sufficient and necessary conditions in math, the sufficient condition is the change of system. Unless the system – social-economic, political, military, diplomatic, value, cultural – is changed, unless we are able to change the system, the country will not recover and will not revive; therefore, we embody the anti-systemic force.
