What Has Changed About Tigran Urikhanyan in 2 Years? (Video)

March 16,2012 16:43

During a conversation with www.aravot.am today, in response to a question whether he shared his critique of prime minister’s activities expressed in 2011 that he should have resigned or not, Tigran Urikhanyan, a member of the Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) political council said that he had expressed the idea of a person having respective status and engaged in politics, “Today I am a member of the PAP political council and in order to express the respective notion, I must have the position of the political force I represent. However, let me mention that the PAP participates in the election, represents its own pre-election program, therefore, it is an alternative to the political force that is represented by the head of the government.”

According to publications of mass media, Tigran Urikhanyan said in 2010 at Tesaket Club, in response to a question whether Robert Kocharyan’s return was possible in his opinion, “Yes, Robert Kocharyan has opportunities to contribute to getting out of the difficult situation.”

In response to our question in this regard whether this notion was still in force too, Mr. Urikhanyan recalled the aphorism from the movie Ivan Vasilievich Changes Profession, “They say меня терзают смутныесомнения, У Шпака  магнитофон, у посла  медальон (I am concerned again, a tape recorder stolen from Shpak, a medallion from the ambassador), it seems to me that something is not correct in what you are saying, is it a trap? I think that there is an inaccuracy and a mismatch there.”

Later on, when we showed that part of Tigran Urikhanyan’s press conference two years before on the internet, he said that those were not his words, “Journalists also wrote about me that I had come from the moon.”
