Although Hovsep Khurshudyan, the press secretary of the Heritage Party, stated during a conversation with www.aravot.am that there was no need to review the Heritage Party list with participation of the representatives of the Free Democrats Party and the public sector, nonetheless, we have found out that discussions between the two parties on that continue. And as a result of that the sequence of the list is changing and the inclusion of some candidates representing the civil society in the party list has already been reviewed. The persons at issue are in particular radio journalist Araks Poghosyan and director of the International Center for Human Development Tevan Poghosyan. The discussions are still in progress and it is not ruled out that the Heritage Party will make public a new list. Aravot’s source said in this regard that the public opinion was certainly important for both parties and could be “pressing.”
Let us mention that the inclusion of certain figures in the Heritage Party list is actively discussed in mass media and on Facebook and it has caused confusion.
