The election hasn’t started yet, but the opposition has serious doubts that it will be free and fair, as the establishment states. In response to our question in this regard what was the guarantee for free and fair election, the Attorney General said, “The function of the opposition is to constantly criticize a certain event organized by the authorities and to always say that they would do it better. The authorities should show the contrary that those processes are organized and carried out much better than those organized by the former authorities and it is the case. Because during these years, the civil society in Armenia has really advanced much further. And all of you see that. I don’t say that based on researches, but it is visible to the naked eye that the civil society has made a big progress in Armenia during the past few years.”
