In response to Aravot’s question how he would comment on the opinions expressed recently on the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) that the word “revolutionary” should be taken out of its name and one should call it Armenian Anti-Revolutionary Federation instead, Vahan Hovhannisyan, a member of the ARF Bureau said, “I don’t wish to comment on nonsense.” In response to our question whether the ARF continued to be revolutionary, Mr. Hovhannisyan said, “The ARF has always been and is revolutionary. Those people just don’t understand what revolution is and therefore they make such assessments. However, they are not many, but they are stupid and I don’t wish to comment on what they said.”
