For Lyudmila Sargsyan, an ANC MP, the political stage is not fully shaped yet, but one thing is clear that all steps of the ANC taken so far have been justified. “The government is not monolithic, as a result of that our struggle is directed against Serzh Sargsyan,” Ms. Sargsyan said to www.aravot.am not considering the Rule of Law Party (RLP) as a coalition partner, “It is a very serious achievement that the two biggest parts of the government didn’t manage to form a united coalition, the PAP hasn’t stated so far that it will endorse Serzh Sargsyan.”
“Therefore, the rules of the game may change and I don’t rule out that the PAP may take independent steps,” Ms. Sargsyan thinks.
She also admitted that the PAP had impeded the ANC during the parliamentary election, “In many places, where it didn’t have a candidate for majoritarian representation, it tried to support the ANC, anyway. You know what; since it appeared as an alternative, naturally, a part of the people thought that it didn’t matter they would vote for the ANC or the PAP.”
