“The main reason for my discontent is the decision of the Heritage Party council, by which the list for proportional representation was approved. In my opinion, that list didn’t reflect the wishes of our voters,” said Daniel Ioanissyan, a member of the Heritage Party, who asked for the floor during the party convention and started to complain about the list for proportional representation from the stage. and my quizzes on Facebook showed that actually the voters’ opinions and wishes contradicted that list. The fact that the Heritage Party candidates for majoritarian representation won in their electoral districts more votes than that party testifies again to the fact that the MPs are very popular. And the fact that they were ranked low on the list for proportional representation had a negative impact.”
According to him, many people vote for the Heritage Party, because there aren’t people who rob or have ever robbed in that party, “I don’t claim that the Free Democrats have ever robbed this country, but they don’t enjoy that reputation.” Daniel positively assesses the inclusion of Isabella Abgaryan and Arman Musheghyan in the list, “They and not the Free Democrats should have been in the favorable places.”
In his speech, the party member also expressed discontent about the former executive committee of the party. He said during a conversation with us, “That executive committee worked very badly, it didn’t fulfill its duties, wasn’t quick to respond, many written proposals were left unanswered, were not discussed in the committee and that committee should have been given a negative assessment.”

Daniel assured that he was not the only one; many people inside the party shared his opinion. As for why the others didn’t express that position of theirs, according to Daniel, probably they didn’t want to oppose the party leader’s course.
