According to Gevorg Alekyan, the head of the ARF Gyumri office, a few days ago he and Hovsep Simonyan, the ARF candidate for the mayor of Gyumri, applied to Vahagn Hovhannisyan, the manager of the Heritage Party local office, offering to discuss the issue whether they would like to endorse the ARF candidate for the local election.
Let us mention that besides the candidate for mayor, the ARF has 3 candidates for the town council. One of them is Ara Nakhshakaryan, formally a carpenter at no.3 high school, and the other two, Stepan Stepanyan and Haykaram Makaryan, are businessmen.
The Heritage Party, which has not nominated any candidate for the election, stated today that it agreed to the offer and would endorse the ARF members. Let us remind that the ARF candidate for mayor is Hovsep Simonyan, formerly the head and currently the deputy head of the financial and economic department, the regional administration of Shirak.
