
The plans are not new, and “we still believe that such a move would not be conducive to rebuilding confidence and would be fraught with a serious exacerbation of tension in the region, and, for that reason, would be counterproductive from the point of view of the process of peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict,” Vladimir Dorokhin told Interfax.
“We expect that the parties to the conflict will use diplomatic means to solve the new problem, will not resort to threats of attacking aircraft, and will avoid politicizing this issue.”
