Curses and an Incident in Artashat

Police officers stir up tension, instead of preventing provocations. Raffi Hovhannisyan’s speech in Artashat has just ended.

Before he arrived, there had been a tense situation; on the one hand, up to ten police cars had terrified people with their sirens, on the other hand, filming police officers had gotten to work and had stirred up tension, filming those gathered. One of the cameramen-policemen even started to film Davit Sanasaryan.

The latter requested him to introduce himself and then film. According to Davit, the police officer started to curse in response, after which there was a brawl.

Journalists started to consistently film the faces of the members of the police and National Security Service (NSS) crew. One of them started to curse journalists this time. Anahit Bakhshyan interfered; the guys didn’t introduce themselves and ran away. At this moment, Raffi Hovhannisyan has come and urged one of those who have cursed to introduce himself.

“I am Raffi Hovhannisyan who are you?” The latter replied with difficulty: “Ashot Galstyan, a businessman.”
