What will happen to the amounts of the drivers who have already paid the state duty for parking fee for the month of August, when, on August 2, the Yerevan City Hall actually decided to defer the state duty payments for parking until the 1st of September , in other words, the parking for the month of August becomes free. On these days, a number of citizens apply to Aravot.am, who are concerned that their monthly payment of 2000 drams “will be lost” and, although they paid punctually and disciplined, but appeared in the status of the victim. The drivers applied to the City Hall did not receive a clear answer, but they were calmed down that their money will not be lost. In this regard, YerevanCity Hall told Aravot.am that no citizen will lose money, those who have already made the payment for August, they may make a written appeal to the City Hall for recalculation, and afterwards the money will be transferred to the month of September. And the citizens who have made the payment until December 31, as it was informed from the municipality, they must also submit a written appeal to the City Hall, and after recalculation their money will be returned. To note that from July 1, in some parts of the city, mainly in the central streets, parking in the place of the red markings is charged a state duty. The parking places are exploited by the “Parking city service,” which charges 100 drams for one hour of parking, 500 drams for one day, 1000 drams for a week, 2000 drams for one month, and 12 thousand drams for a year.
