Pension revolution vision

March 08,2014 19:21

Numerous citizens, observers and analysts have expressed their opinion about Kiev Maidan events, and by the opinion of many of them the most essential mistake of Ukrainian opposition was the absence of united leader. There is also contrary opinion. According to the contrary opinion, if the Ukrainian opposition had a certain and final leader, it is very possibly that far fewer people could have gathered in Maidan, mainly the supporters of the united leader.

However, in the Ukraine, even regardless of the current situation, the issue united opposition leader is more than matured for the very reason that much time is left for their next presidential elections, not to speak about that the time for the next elections arrived. Thought the current situation in Ukraine is significantly different from the current situation in Armenia, however, there are people who draw parallels, and their opinions are significantly different from each other.

Our pro-western people believe that Armenia’s opposition should proceed by the way of Ukraine’s opposition until the final European integration, nevertheless, in terms of the fight, our pro-western people are not united because our pro-western people being strongly against Russia and the Customs Union vision, are not particularly against Armenian authorities and the current President Serzh Sargsyan. And, vice versa, those from the opposition of Armenia, who are demanding the resignation of the authorities of Armenia, are possibly refraining from the topic. In other words, politically, the situation created in Armenia can be considered quite abnormal, and, apparently, the main reason for the abnormality of this situation is neither the opposition nor the authorities in Armenia are united in terms of ideology. And, though our opposition in the beginning of the year somehow acted as united with regard to the pension issue, however, this unique united rally still does not provide sufficient grounds to believe that this unity and consolidation could have serious continuation. Especially, when the initiators of this still united rally was not the opposition, but the young and unaffiliated activists. However, the activism of the youth is quite enough for the parties to desperately unite and maintain their activism, because if the party members do not respond the activism of the young activists, the role and significance of political parties can be drastically reduced. And, now, the civil activists are beginning to understand that without the support of political parties, they are unlikely to achieve any success, especially in terms of filling the Freedom square. And, it seems that everyone inward feels and realizes that at this moment the monopoly of filling in the Freedom square mainly belongs to PAP, and also this is the reason why everyone is saying everything to each other, however, they are very careful in their expressions to PAP. And, though, so far PAP has not made any statements with regard to its being an opposition, it was beside the civilians and parliamentary opposition when the matter came to the pension issue. In other words, life shows that if the interests match, the opposition parties would not only refrain from defaming and censuring each other, moreover, they will cooperate with each other quite well. And, if the interests dictate, the ANC and “Heritage” would not only stop discrediting each other, moreover, they will pour compliments to each other, and if the interests of our opponents become common, we would have not only one radical opposition, but several at once. Including the alternative PAP.
